Project Description

The Inflite Jet Centre at London Stansted Airport has always been known for its exclusive lounges, attentive passenger handling, superb cuisine, attention to detail and exemplary standards of service. Refurbished in 2013, the company's new terminal offers every practical convenience that the private air traveller requires, with luxurious and seamless transit from arrival to aircraft.

We were contracted by Inflite to manufacture and install a range of decorative fibre optic chandeliers that would add a touch of elegance to the newly refurbished lounge area and mirror the company's strong ethos of quality and excellence.

Working alongside our sister company, Unlimited Light, we created three synchronised colour-changing crystal sphere chandeliers that were installed in the ceiling space above the main reception desk and a further two larger crystal chandeliers for the ceiling space in-front of the lounge's large glass facade.

The chandeliers, which span 250mm and 500mm in diameter, were constructed from the finest Bohemian cut crystal, which projects beautiful spellbinding patterns onto the surrounding walls and surfaces when illuminated from above.

To complete the transformation, we created a custom-made fibre optic spiral chandelier for the main waiting area in the newly refurbished centre. Manufactured from our cracked sideglow fibre and with a drop in excess of 3 metres, the large installation provides a welcome distraction for travellers waiting to board their flights.
